Exciting, Engaging, Experimental Theatre
Join Geena, Allison, Clara, and the entire Yinzer Scared team each month as Mythburgh brings site-specific stories to you at home, exploring the myths and legends that unite us as a city and investigating what makes us “Pittsburgh.”
Mythburgh finds inspiration in creepy, epic, weird, and uniquely Pittsburgh stories. Featuring a recurring cast of characters looking for ghosts, ghouls, and connection in a time of social distancing, Mythburgh is one monthly web conference you will actually look forward to.
It’s been 7 months since Geena’s brother Jeff went missing. The Yinzer Scared team reunites online to continue their ghost-hunting adventures, but a spirit presence is lurking in the shadows. Searching for help to get Yinzer Scared back on its feet, Geena has brought in paranormal expert Roy to guide them. Will Geena ever find out what really happened to Jeff? And why does Allison’s television keep switching to ESPN on its own? Find out in Episode 1, Stay Scary!
Renowned (some say hack) psychic Mystic Matt returns to Mythburgh to help the Yinzer Scared ghost-hunting team make contact with the spirit of Geena’s dead brother Jeff, whose body was found in the Monongahela River. Will he be successful, or will he keep getting sidetracked by the fact that he was just stood up by a guy he really wanted to go on a Zoom date with, and he’s probably going to die alone and dating in a pandemic is impossible and men don’t answer when you call them anyway?
The ghost-hunting web series Yinzer Scared Online is a hit! However, with great success comes great responsibility. When a copycat channel is stealing the Yinzer Scared branding, it’s up to our web stars Geena, Jeff, Roy, and Clara to save the show through a strongly worded letter and some ghost hijinks. Meanwhile, Jeff is keeping a secret that could change the Yinzer Scared team forever. Find out what happens in our next episode - Fake Boos!
The Yinzer Scared team is on a mission to figure out why. Revisiting a story from before the time of social distancing and quarantines, our band of ghost hunters explores the legend of William and Ada, the star crossed spirits of Blue Mist Road, who, if they were to touch, could end the world as we know it. Is this the cause of all of the 2020 strangeness?
When a ghastly game of Never Have I Ever appears online, the Yinzer Scared ghost-hunting troop sets out to investigate. It's all in good fun until the secrets revealed change the dynamics of the group of ghosts and the Yinzer Scared team forever.
Still on their quest for Braddock's gold, the Yinzer Scared Team enlists the help of famous (or infamous) psychic medium Mystic Matt for a spirit-channeling session. When a new creepy video shows up online, it gives our ragtag team a new lead, but are the restless spirits surrounding the treasure more dangerous than they seem?
The Yinzer Scared crew does their best to banish the ghost of General Braddock (while still finding the location of the gold). Meanwhile, Allison and Clara plan a girls’ movie night, but a last minute séance summons a spirit of their own. Will this ghost clown be kind, or will this be no laughing matter?
